Tammy J. Miller was sworn in as the 39th lieutenant governor of North Dakota on Jan. 3, 2023.
Hailing from Brocket, N.D., Tammy Miller is a proud alumna of Lakota High School and holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting along with a master of business administration from Minnesota State University Moorhead. As a certified public accountant, Tammy spent the formative years of her career honing her skills in public accounting for eight years.
Tammy's professional journey has been nothing short of remarkable, marked by her tenure as CEO of Border States, the sixth-largest electrical distributor in the U.S. Her transition into the public sector showcases her diverse expertise and commitment to making a meaningful impact. Passionate about both business leadership and societal change, Tammy inspires others to excel in the distribution industry while contributing to global betterment.

Shawn Riley, Co-CEO of Bisblox
A lifelong technologist and entrepreneur, Shawn started his first company at the age of 16. He worked as a thought leader for companies like IBM and the Mayo Clinic. His career has included massive change and transformation initiatives spanning multi-billion dollar organizations and roles as Chief Executive Officer, Chief Information Officer, Chief Technology Officer, and Information Management Officer. In 2017, Shawn was appointed by Governor Doug Burgum to lead as the state of North Dakota’s Chief Information Officer and cabinet member.
Today, Shawn serves as co-CEO of Bisblox, a Venture Studio building companies around the world with an obsession to be bold, disrupt boring, and strengthen growth while executing a vision that asks, “How might we help others succeed?”

Rebekah LaRobardiere, Founder RJL Coaching
Rebekah LaRobardiere is a wife of 20 years, a mother for 16, and a lifelong student, committed to the dream of ever-evolving and growing. As a certified Sex & Relationship Coach, sexuality educator, and Somatic Experiencing practitioner, she is passionate about empowering women to align with their bodies rather than fight against them. She believes in embracing the ebb and flow of life’s cycles, helping women harness their strengths while creating space for growth.
Rebekah’s work is rooted in guiding women to reconnect with their humanity and rediscover the innate wisdom of their design. Her dream is to shift cultural perspectives on sex and sexuality so that, in two generations, conversations about intimacy are rooted in health and empowerment, not shame. Because thriving shouldn’t be a privilege for a few—it should be the norm for all.

Beyond her corporate achievements, Jenny is deeply committed to community service. In 2016, she was appointed to lead North Dakota's Office of Recovery Reinvented, reflecting her dedication to addressing addiction and promoting recovery initiatives within the state.
Her contributions have been recognized through various accolades, including the Pioneer Award from Recovery Reinvented in 2022, honoring her innovative efforts in the addiction and recovery space.

Emma McIntyre, Folkways Community Cheerleader
From energizing community initiatives to championing entrepreneurial dreams, Emma has been building bridges and sparking connections across Fargo and beyond. Currently as the Manager of Development and Partnerships at Folkways, she’s helping craft experiences that celebrate local culture and foster a vibrant community spirit.
Before Folkways, Emma was the Director of Community Development at Chezy, where she spent a year and a half turning big ideas into tangible results for West Fargo, ND. With a knack for connecting people and driving impact, her passion for community growth shone brightly.
Her journey started at Emerging Prairie, where she wore many hats (and wore them well). From Summer Intern to Project Coordinator and finally Entrepreneur Programs Manager, she spent over three years cultivating entrepreneurial ecosystems, championing big ideas, and making Fargo a hub for innovation, in addition to leading the charge for multiple TEDx events.

Cyndy Skorick, 2019 Lifetime Achievement Award Recipient & Former Executive Director of Sanford Women's Clinic
Cyndy Skorick, has just transitioned out of her robust career in Fargo, North Dakota, shere she served as the Executive Director of Women's and Children's Primary Care at Sanford Health. In this role, she was been instrumental in expanding services, including the integration of certified nurse-midwives into the staff to enhance maternity care options.
In recognition of her significant contributions to the community, Cyndy was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award by YWCA Cass Clay in 2019.
Throughout her tenure at Sanford Health, Cyndy has overseen various initiatives aimed at improving patient care. Notably, she has been involved in the expansion of facilities, such as the Veterans Square Clinic in southwest Fargo, to better serve the community's healthcare needs.
Her leadership has also extended to specialized programs, including the Sanford Eating Disorder and Weight Management Center, where she has collaborated with medical professionals to advance treatment options.

DJ Colter is a prominent insurance professional and community leader based in Fargo, North Dakota. DJ resides in Horace, North Dakota, with his wife, Jennifer, and their three daughters: Kennedy, Harper, and McKenna. In his leisure time, he enjoys outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, golfing, and spending time at their Lake Sallie cabin in Minnesota.

Ashley Ritteman, is the CEO and co-founder of Valor Victoria. She has a passion for rail networks, which began when studying the inland flows of international containers as a graduate student at NDSU. She knew there was a way to reduce costs for importers while driving capacity into the hands of exporters. She has effectively turned this passion into a business and now has a great team that’s come alongside her vision. Ashley develops new business opportunities, studies customer and vendor needs and visions for growth, and finds new ways to support the amazing Valor Victoria team.
Outside of her professional passions, her life is dedicated to family. Ashley cofounded Valor Victoria with the goal of 'having it all.' They believe that with the right people around you it's possible to be a working professional while not compromising at home. Ashley and her husband Thomas have two beautiful babies, and in 2020 we started pursuing Thomas' life-long dream of operating a first-generation grain farm. Most often you'll find us with tired eyes and full hearts, leaving it all on the field for this American dream.
